On September 28, 2009, new rules will come into effect across Canada that apply to firms and individuals who deal in securities, provide investment advice or manage investment funds.

National Instrument 31-103 Registration Requirements and Exemptions, and related rules and amendments, create a new Canada-wide registration regime.
